Randomness about Christmas

Did I mention before that I LOVE Christmas? There is just something about this time of year that makes me all warm and fuzzy, could be the egg nog and not shaving..ha kidding :) But seriously its all about family, seeing them, being with them, and remembering all the ones that are sadly not with you. Sure its crazy hectic and there is always something going on but thats just part of the deal. I however try to be one who has my shopping done prior to Thanksgiving, this way I am not out and about with the HUNDREDS of others shopping daily til Christmas. And people have a hard time remembering how to drive this time of year, always in a hurry but not really going anywhere. We were on our way to a resturaunt just the two of us while the kiddos were being babysat. We were waiting to turn and at that moment you hear the screaching tires and the crash, someone was turning and didnt see the person going straight...of course my heart was in my throat. So sure there are a few annoying things but when I walk into my house and see all the decorations, or imagine my childrens faces on Christmas morning...I just simply love it. My random thought of the day :)

Its that time of year!!

The holidays are upon us! I personally LOVE this time of year, even with the insane hustle and bustle of being everywhere seemingly at once (Thanksgiving alone we have 3 dinners to attend). So needless to say we keep busy. Our tree isnt decorated but that will be done by this weekend. Then more pictures! I am hoping to get a new lens for Christmas and finally get those shots I have been dreaming of, and do away with the kit lens I am using that isnt even for this camera. So here are just a few shots recently...



I also did a few shots for my sister and her boys for her Christmas card.

It's been a while...

Between doing school work, and full time mommy duties...on top of redoing our living room I havent been on much to update anything :) here are a few recent photos....

My sleepy birthday girl the day she turned 2! If you cant tell by the crown she is a princess !
My lil man the day he turned 4! Not my favorite edit but I like the muted tones.



For now thats it, until I get in full fall mode and leaves really start changing in my favor here then I will probably be a photo taking fool....until next time!
